About the presenter

Dr. Muhammad Asghar
Karolinska Institute, Stockholm

Dr. Muhammad Asghar is a postdoctoral fellow at the Swedish Society for Medical Research and works in the Unit of Infectious Diseases and Dermatology at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden. His research investigates how infectious diseases (malaria, HIV, tuberculosis, and influenza) affect host biological aging and allostatic load both in natural populations and through experimental animal model studies.
